Wemo is a new smart-home system that allows you to control all of your smart home devices through the Wemo App, from anywhere in the world.
The Wemo App allows you experience the convenience of controlling your lights, appliances, or even an entire room without leaving your couch, while enjoying a cup of coffee at a local café, or even while soaking up the sun in the Caribbean. The app connects to your home Wi-Fi network, so you don’t need to have an internet connection to use it. You can control multiple lights, switches, and appliances in a single room. The Wemo App is compatible with most devices that are compatible with the Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also pair your devices with IFTTT, a service that lets you create custom smart-home schedules based on real-time events.
The Wemo App connects to the home Wi-Fi network through a local connection, so you don’t need to have an internet connection to use it.
